Randy earned his B.S. in business administration (B.S.B.A.) from the University of Southern Mississippi and his M.B.A. from Mississippi College. After 13 years as a personal investor, Randy built Mascagni Wealth Management, Inc., a fully independent financial planning firm. In 1998, Mascagni Wealth Management relocated from Jackson, Mississippi, to the James House in historic Olde Town Clinton which is located in the brick-and-mortar heart of Clinton, Mississippi. In July of 2006, Randy was featured by USA Today's Money Section in a pre-retirement financial planning review which provided suggestions for a married couple living on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. In addition to producing his company’s In Sight newsletter, which provides professional insight and perspectives on current financial news, Randy also periodically provides financial planning articles for Metro Christian Living magazine and Mississippi Business Journal.

In 2008, Randy was awarded the Clinton Chamber of Commerce's Distinguished Service Award. He has volunteered his time to organizations such as the M&F Bank Advisory Council and the Heart of David Ministries. He has also served as president of the City of Clinton Chamber of Commerce (2005) and as president of the Mississippi Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (2005 – 2006). Randy has previously served on the board of directors and as treasurer for the Mississippi chapter of the American Heart Association, specifically addressing their investment portfolio.

Randy enjoys the opportunities he has to help others work to accomplish their personal financial goals and feels “truly blessed” to make his career in helping others. Whether helping a couple manage their retirement funding, supporting his team, or providing valuable work experience to a college intern, Randy invests his time and resources in those around him because he finds genuine personal satisfaction being in “the helping business.”
