How we are Compensated
One of the most common questions we are asked by prospective clients is “How are you compensated?” As a client of our firm, you have two basic paths to the personalized service you desire, both which are committed to your best interests. Since we are an independently owned advisory firm, we can readily adapt to your needs and goals. Below we have detailed the various ways we are compensated. Deciding which service or combination of services is best for your situation is often a matter of personal preference and/or account size.
Financial Planning Services. Mascagni Wealth Management, Inc. is a Registered Investment Advisor, a designation that allows us to work on a planning fee-only basis. During the initial year of working with you, we may charge a planning fee for the development of a comprehensive (or partial) financial plan. For this service, clients are quoted a fee so there are no surprises once your plan is complete.
Fee Only Advisory Method. Through Investacorp Advisory Services, Inc. (IAS), we provide a fee-only advisory investment platform that is fully-transparent. As we help you invest your assets, we will receive a set annual fee (which is billed quarterly) that is a percentage of account value. Minimum account sizes are required prior to opening an account and several account types are available to custom-fit to your needs and situation. We do not receive commissions on transactions within IAS accounts, and funds are purchased at NAV (net asset value) without any sales charges or commissions.
Commission Method. Securities by licensed individuals offered through Investacorp, Inc., for commission services. This allows us to provide our clients a product or service that may or may not be available through the fee-only method. Through this method, we receive commissions when you invest your assets through our Broker/Dealer affiliation.
